Personal Power

Your personal power is measured by your ability to finish what you start.
Finish something. Anything. Stop researching, planning, and preparing to do the work and just start doing the work.

It doesn’t matter how good or how bad it is. You don’t need to set the world on fire with your first try. You just need to prove to yourself that you have what it takes to produce something. There are no artists, athletes, entrepreneurs, or scientists who became great by half-finishing their work.

Stop debating what you should make and just make something.

This week’s ADHD Advantage

Positive Energy

Your life is shaped by the meaning you give the events in your life.

A wild storm can cause damage to people, livestock and property.

At the same time, it clears away debris and refreshes the earth.

This cycle has gone on for millions of years.

Use your ADHD mind to help others in need, and to create something positive from a challenging situation.

This week’s ADHD Challenge

Are You Part-Time or Full-Time ADHD?

e“ADHD is not a flaw, it’s a unique way of thinking. It allows me to see the world in a different light, and come up with innovative solutions to complex problems.” – Unknown

From my sixty-plus years of living with ADHD, the biggest mistake I made was living in two worlds.

The neurotypical world and the neurodivergent world.

I was always confused about which world was best for me and my family and would constantly shift from one to the other. That brought me internal conflict and massive uncertainty.

So decide to live in the right world for you, and don’t chop and change. Commit to it 100% and live all out!

I am a part-time researcher, part-time writer, part-time marketer, part-time builder, part-time husband and full-time ADHD’er.

Solutions

•    Live 80% in the ADHD world.
•    Live 20% in the Neurotypical world.
•    Let others live their life in their world.
•    Feel free to live ‘different’
•    Drop the guilt and confusion.

Weekly Tip

Treat Each Day as a 24-hour Lifetime.

Try this for a week and see what results you get.
Schedule every hour of your day. Distraction steals what’s not locked down.

Do all that you can – today.
Be as efficient and effective as you can.
Set an alarm to start and stop on time.
Obey your schedule, no matter how you feel.

“Efficiency is doing things right; effectiveness is doing the right things” – Peter Drucker
